in Molecular Therapy Nucleic Acids

MTNA publishes top-quality basic, translational, and clinical research in the broad fields of nucleic acid-based therapeutics to treat and/or correct genetic and acquired disease.

Through this partnership, MTNA will expand its scope to include nucleic acid immunity. Together, MTNA and NAIS will deepen scientific engagement, broaden opportunities for knowledge exchange, and strengthen the global foundation of nucleic acid research. This partnership aims to accelerate the translation of groundbreaking discoveries into impactful nucleic acid-based therapeutics.

As an international open-access journal, MTNA's aims and scope focus on publishing high-quality research in the expansive fields of nucleic acid-based therapeutics to treat and/or correct genetic disease, from basic to translational to clinical research as peer-reviewed articles, reviews and commentaries.

The Nucleic Acid Immunity subsection deepens MTNA's impact by

providing a dedicated space for nucleic acid immunity-specific research, including:

nucleic acid sensing,

pathway regulation,

homeostasis,

cell-autonomous antiviral immunity, 

altered and engineered nucleic acids, 

evolutionary antiviral systems, 

nucleic acid therapeutics and therapeutic immune activation, 

and nucleic acid immunity's influence on disease and aging. ​​​​
